- Member of the Order of the Void (Raven Queen zealots) Specialty: Adjudicator
Grrkda is a member of the Order of the Void a sect of the Raven Queen followers. Her position within the sect is named Adjudicator.
She, like the rest of the Raven Queen followers embraces death as being a part of life. Her and her order believe they were granted life to purge the unholy (those following Orcus and other false gods) and to bring justice to the lands.
She collects the parts of those that she killed and shows them off to please the Raven Queen and mark them as one of her chosen instruments. Her role as adjudicator means she is skilled in and has a knack for torture and dismemberment. She relishes creative ways of making an enemy confess and marvels at her own wit (what little there is) when thinking of new ways to bring pain, after all this life doesn’t truly matter to her, the afterlife does and quickening a soul into the Raven Queen’s hands is the holiest of works.
Grrkda believes that to slay an enemy with their own weapons is an insult to that enemy as her weapons and quick means of dispatch are too good for them.
The greatest insult to an enemy is to leave them maimed and on the cusp of death. Grrkda believes this is an insult to their life and will collect a part from her enemy to offer to the Raven Queen marking her enemy as one who deserves punishment in the afterlife.
Grrkda believes that her brutal and twisted means of bringing about punishment and death are righteous and that she is an instrument of the Raven Queen. Death is a part of life and how one meets that death in her mind will determine their afterlives.
She doesn’t see herself as being good, bad or neutral, just righteous in her beliefs. She is tolerant of most people and friendly to a select few. Like other members of her order she is bigoted against those she deems (unnaturals), generally anyone smaller than 5 feet as they equate them as being little more than vermin.(though some may grow on her)
Grrkda enjoys three things above all, her job, drinking, and praying.
Grrkda’s favorite saying: “Punishment! Justice! Death! To the Raven Queen’s loving embrace I send thee!”
Grrkda’s 2nd favorite saying: “I am the Raven Queen’s justice, you will meet her missing this (body part)”
Grrkda won’t admit it to herself but she takes perverse pleasure in watching things melt from her acid breath.
She will defend a baby with her life as she sees the potential in each child to bring more souls to the Raven Queen if they have a chance to become adults. She will ease the suffering of those she judges to be innocent by taking their lives and make those suffer she deems to be guilty before sending them to the Raven Queen.
She loves big weapons and armor and feels those who can’t carry them are weak and thus mocks them for their weakness. She has an irrational hatred of most statues though if they look to be religious she will investigate and usually pray depending on the god in the statue. She holds the Raven queen to be the highest of all the gods though she recognizes some of the others and will pray to them as well as the Raven Queen. She will only bless others in the Raven Queen’s name.
